Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common health concern for many individuals, especially women. However, there can be some confusion surrounding the relationship between UTIs and menstruation. In this blog post, we will explore the factors that can contribute to UTIs during menstruation and provide helpful information to understand and prevent these uncomfortable infections.

We want to continue celebrating amazing women and this week, let's celebrate the remarkable contributions of Shirley Chisholm, Bessie Coleman, Rosa Parks, and Wangari Maathai to history and use their accomplishments as a source of inspiration for what lies ahead.

Because history wouldn't be the same without the great work of these women, let's embrace their achievements and have them as an inspiration for our future. We want to share every week the work of 4 different women that had an impact on our society. For this week, we want to share the work of Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Harriet Tubman, Madame C.J. Walker, and Sojourner Truth.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and it is a time to remember the importance of health screenings for women. Here, we can gather knowledge and strength, not just to live on our own but to help each other, too. It's amazing how far we have come and how many positive shifts we have experienced regarding women’s health, especially regarding cervical cancer. With the advances in preventive care, we can find this potentially deadly cancer earlier than ever before and even prevent it from occurring in some cases. As Sisters in Health, let us take the time this month to explore our options and take control of our health and well-being. Let us rally together to create awareness, increase access, and reduce disparities so that we can all have healthier lives.
